Aneta Kapla, Paulina Boreczko and Maciej Bogumił Nerkowski began their vocal education at Białystok’s I. J. Paderewski High School of Music in the solo singing class of prof. Violetta Bielecka. Despite young age they took part in numerous concerts and recordings in both Poland and abroad. Their musical experience is closely related to the cooperation with “Schola Cantorum Bialostociencis” and “Cantica Cantamus” choirs.
Aneta Kapla (b. 1983) – student of the F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in the solo singing class of Eugenia Rozlach-Rezler. Her repertoire includes parts from G. B. Pergolesi’s “Stabat Mater”, W. A. Mozart’s “Missa Brevis in B flat”, S. Moniuszko’s “Lottery” and “Third Litany of Ostra Brama” and C. Orff’s “Carmina Burana”.
Paulina Boreczko (b. 1986) – a final year student of High School of Music and High School in Białystok. In 2003 she won the first prize in the student category of The Fourth Moniuszko Competition “The Evening Song” and in 2004 she was awarded the third prize in The National Vocal Competition For Secondary Music School Students in Olsztyn. She sung solo parts from Moniuszko’s “First Litany of Ostra Brama” and “Milda” cantata. In January 2005 Paulina Boreczko performed songs from “The Red Moon” cycle together with the author – Jerzy Maksymiuk as a director.
Maciej Bogumił Nerkowski (b. 1983) – student of F. Chopin Academy of Music in Warsaw in the solo singing class of Mikołaj Moroz. In 2001 he won the first prize in the student category of The Fourth Moniuszko Competition “The Evening Song”. His repertoire covers solo parts from S. Moniuszko’s “Lottery” and “Verbum Nobile”, C. Orff’s “Carmina Burana”.

Female Choir „Schola Cantorum Bialostociensis” and Białystok Chamber Choir „Cantica Cantamus” are outstanding ensembles created and conducted by one of the best polish choirmasters and teachers – prof. Violetta Bielecka. Their artistic output includes numerous prizes awarded in such competitions as “Let the peoples sing” or “Legnica Cantat”. The choirs have made many audio and TV recordings and issued 10 CDs.
Female Choir „Schola Cantorum Bialostociensis” (founded in 1987) is the ensemble functioning in cooperation with Białystok Music School. The choir has promoted in a very active way not only the school, but also the city, region and country on numerous festivals and concerts. In 1998 the ensemble received The Award of the Minister of Culture and Art for promoting the culture.
Białystok Chamber Choir “Cantica Cantamus” (founded in 1988) is a fully professional ensemble, which has its current abode in Białystok Philharmony. Apart from cooperation with Białystok Philharmonic Orchestra the choir has been performing with Berliner Philharmoniker, Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra and Rostock Philharmony. The repertoire of the choir includes more than fifty oratorios and cantatas and more than 500 choir literature pieces from Poland and abroad. Among its artistic achievements the choir has got many first performances of polish contemporary music.
Violetta Bielecka – professor of F. Chopin Music Academy department based in Białystok. Her enormous pedagogical output is a great number of perfectly educated choirmasters and choir and solo vocalists. She was given numerous awards in prestige choir competitions in Leipzig, Legnica and Warsaw. In 2002 she was honoured with The Golden Cross of Merit by the President of The Republic of Poland.

Chamber Orchestra “Sinfonia Academica” – the chamber orchestra of F. Chopin Music Academy department based in Białystok began its artistic activity in 1998. The ensemble was founded and directed by Leszek Sokołowski – Dean of The Instrumental and Pedagogic Department and Włodzimierz Promiński – an outstanding violinist and chamber musician. Despite its young age, the orchestra successfully performed many prestigious concerts both in Poland and abroad (France) with the most distinguished polish conductors and soloist such as Jerzy Maksymiuk, Konstanty A. Kulka, Mirosław J. Błaszczyk, Elżbieta Pańko. “Sinfonia Academica” participated in several radio and TV recordings and recorded a CD with Miłosz Magin compositions.
